U.S. Army: My Son Received a “General Discharge”, What Does That Mean?
Question by : U.S. Army: My son received a “general discharge”, what does that mean?
We’re from Hobarts, Indiana… our son is now 19 and we forced him to enlist in the Army last year because of his disrespect toward us, and some drug abuse (marijuana, etc.).
He enlisted in the Army and was transferred to North Carolina, but he was back home last Friday with an “Official U.S. Army Discharge Letter” which says that “Jason […..] receives a general discharge [….] [….]”, but not explaining anything!
What does that mean?, any help appreciated.
