Does Anyone Know of a Free Drug Rehab Center in Alabama or One of It’s Surrounding States?

Question by Carrie W: Does anyone know of a free drug rehab center in Alabama or one of it’s surrounding states?
A friend of mine in Alabama is addicted to heroin and has finally decided it’s time to get help. The only problem is he doesn’t have insurance or the money to get into rehab. There is a free rehab in Birmingham, but they have a long waiting list. He needs help now, not next week or next month! He has become very depressed and suicidal. He says it’s easier to just stay on heroin! Can anyone recommend a rehab in or around Alabama that will take him for free or possibly for a couple hundred dollars?
