I Feel It’s My Fault My Sister Died, and It’s Killing Me. Please Help Me!?
Question by : I feel it’s my fault my sister died, and it’s killing me. Please help me!?
My older sister Charlotte died of OD on the Summer of 2009 and it destroyed my life forever.
My parents, cold-hearted bastards that they are, are acting as if nothing happened, they only remember her as the drooling crackhead zombie she became in her final years, but I remember her as she truly was: a loving, caring, simple girl with a smile that could light up a room. She used to babysit me and my brother when we were little, while my parents were out having fun; she fixed dinner for us, played with us, came to tuck us in bed and kiss us goodnight… she was our mother, and now she’s gone.
I discovered her addiction back when she was only doing light drugs. I found some pot in her room, and she confessed, but she asked me not to tell our parents, she said she only did it for fun, and she had it perfectly under control. I believed her, why wouldn’t I? She was still my sister then, and my sister never lied to me.
After she started losing herself to the drugs, I broke down and told my parents, but it was too late. Would it have been different if I had told my parents then? Could I have saved her if I had? Did I kill her? Is it my fault she’s dead?

its not your fault as you didnt know she would do heavier drugs and OD. i dont think she would be alive if you told them earlier because most people dont think of pot as being that bad.
